CARRIE SCHOENBAUM- Principal Designer, Creative Director, and CEO| Carrie is equal parts dreamer and doer, knowing just how important both are to creating those moments of “wow” in your home. Carrie grew up in Orange County, California, and it shaped both her design sensibility and her approach to life. A lifelong learner, Carrie is self-taught through 15 years of real-life project experience, as well as being a sponge with the experts around her. Carrie feels that yes, beautiful homes are to be admired, but they’re also meant to be lived in. You’ll find Carrie’s style leans into authenticity, texture, and character—the things that make spaces feel truly alive. If you’re working with Carrie, she’ll start by asking you about how you want to live your life in your space. From there, she’ll use your answers as a bedrock of inspiration for every aspect—from the architecture to the finishes and textiles. In the end, you’ll be able to follow the thread from the beautiful finished result all the way back to the vision you cast of the life you wanted to live. Those moments...those are the ones Carrie lives for.

DAVE SCHOENBAUM- Operations Manager| When well-designed and well-built come together perfectly, that’s the magic. And that’s the balance that Dave brings to Wildwood. Dave also grew up in Orange County, California, with a father who fixed or built everything around the house. Learning from tradespeople he admired all the way through childhood, Dave chose construction for a living and went on to own and operate a business for 15 years. When Dave and Carrie started their life together, fixing up their homes became their way of life—and Dave was the construction expert foundation for Carrie to build on. He’s a details guy, but one who realizes that the bigger picture matters quite a lot, too. If you’re working with Dave, you’ll quickly see his work style come to life: running alongside you and helping you face challenges together. Outside of home projects, Dave is usually literally outside. Ask him about his dream to ride his dirt bike from coast to coast and you’ll hear how passionate he is about seeing the world and its ability to re-energize you to come back and do big things.
